Happy REALITY ROCKS release day to Liberty Kontranowski! I’ve been waiting and pretty much salivating for this book since reading ALL ACCESS, the first book in the Fangirl series, a few months ago. I was lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC of this book and dived right into it as soon as it hit my Kindle! I highly recommend checking this book out, and in case you need more encouragement, here’s my review.

With REALITY ROCKS, Liberty Kontranowski accomplishes the amazing: the continuation of a dream-come-true love story that still creates a TON of page-turning romantic tension, delicious drama, and sexy moments. The second installment in the story of Kallie and Niles is sure to satisfy fans of the first book in this series, of which I am most definitely one.
I’ll take a step back for second, as a reader and huge cheerleader of ALL ACCESS (Book 1 in this series). I mean, it’s daunting, right? I spent the previous book cheering on Kallie and Niles as the impossible romance between a 30-something divorced mother of two and a well-known rock star who inspired Kallie’s bestselling novel became possible, and I fell in love with their story. I had to wonder how the second book would hold up against the first. Believe me when I say it DOES hold its own in the best possible ways. I loved ALL ACCESS like crazy, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC of REALITY ROCKS. I had just as much fun reading this book as the first in the series, and seeing what came next for Kallie and Niles as they progressed in their relationship. I read this book over the course of two days, and it was such a wonderful, well-written, satisfying read! (It honestly would have been finished in one day if I hadn’t had a few other real-life things I needed to do!)
This story takes place over the holidays, and we alllllllll know just how much stress and pressure comes with the holidays and a new love you’re introducing to family, right? Now multiply that times a zillion or so when a) your ex-husband and the father of your children is going to be making appearances from time to time, and he already hates your new boyfriend and makes things terse, tense, and infuriating; b) you know introducing your rather FAMOUS new love to your best friend, your mom, and most of your other family members is going to come with super intense and super awkward moments, annnnnnd you aren’t really sure what will pop out of their mouths; c) you live in a small town where everyone knows your business and is sure to know your famous boyfriend is in town; and d) your relationship has revealed parts of yourself that other people aren’t expecting, but that you’ve come to realize is the true you, but there’s the question of how to get the people you love and have known most of your life on board with that fact.
I’m not one to summarize the story in my reviews or to give away any spoilers, because hey, I don’t want to be that stranger on the internet who accidentally gives something away. I think it’s waaaaaay more fun when you go into something not knowing any of the big plot points and get caught up in the twists and turns, wondering what will happen next. What I will do is leave you with this: ALL ACCESS and REALITY ROCKS have made Liberty Kontranowski my favorite author, and I can’t wait to read anything else she writes in the future. If you’ve read ALL ACCESS, you HAVE to read REALITY ROCKS — this isn’t even a question, but if you’ve read ALL ACCESS, you already know this! (And if you haven’t yet read ALL ACCESS but are reading this review, man oh man are you in for a treat when you start the series! Be sure to set aside your entire weekend because you won’t be able to put that book down, and then you’ll immediately have to read this book once you finish it.)
Five wonderful and blissfully happy stars to REALITY ROCKS!

About the author
Liberty Kontranowski is a romantic women’s fiction author who adores all things lovey-dovey with a pinch (or more) of hubba-hubba. When she’s not at the keyboard, she’s taxiing around her three boys, knocking back craft beers with the hubs, blogging, fangirling, and dreaming up more fake people. She also spends an inordinate amount of time drinking coffee and dreaming of the day she can bid adieu to far-too-wintry Michigan and move to a place where she can write with her toes in the sand.
Liberty loves to hear from her readers (and otherwise cool people) so give her a yell. You can find her on Facebook at www.facebook.com/libertykontranowskiauthor; on Twitter at @liberty_k; and through her blog at www.PurdyandWordy.com.
